Happy Haunting {Halloween}

Halloween Dessert Display This dessert display by Eye Candy Event Design was full of spooky treats, but the graveyard ghosts and gooey worms didn’t scare the little “monsters” at this Halloween party! Halloween Dessert Display Halloween Dessert Display All the “mummies” and their little “ghouls” loved the nutter butter mummies and cauldrons filled with cotton candy. Halloween Dessert Display Halloween Dessert Display No bones about it, the hand-dipped chocolate covered pretzels with bone sprinkles were a favorite among the guests.  Halloween Dessert Display Vanilla macaron cookies were plated next to the ghost graveyard, Peep ghosts made their final resting place in pudding cups embellished with pumpkin candies. Sparkly spiders hovered above in a tangle of spiderweb that draped over the display.  Halloween Dessert Display Halloween Dessert Display Cupcakes were wrapped in custom cupcake wrappers and supported a mini pennant banner attached to black and white chevron straws. Tea Party {Dessert Display}

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate a smart and sophisticated young lady than a classic tea party with a twist…of dessert!
Tea-Party-1 Roses and pink macaron cookies filled the tea cups and blue rock candy sticks embellished the saucers. Distressed gold cake stands with crystal embellishments gave this party a vintage feel, while the pink and blue color scheme kept the party fun and flirty. Tea-Party-6 Tea-Party-3 No party is complete without cupcakes, and these vanilla treats were lined in custom cupcake wrappers. A matching cupcake flag topped the tower of bite-sized mini powdered doughnuts and coordinating candies filled the ornate glass jars.  Tea-Party-9 Tea-Party-7 Decorative details of this tea party included China-white teapots, an ornate gold frame and a scrolled european hat box. Burlap & Lace {Wedding}

With warm weather and wedding season upon us, we couldn’t be more excited to share this beautiful burlap and lace wedding with you today! Shiny metallics complimented this modern color scheme of deep navy, pastel pink, apricot peach, and baby blues. Burlap & Lace
Vintage wood crates filled with juicy local apricots were the main focus of the reception tables. Table runners of burlap and lace added a touch of whimsy to the navy linens. Completing the look, mason jars were filled with beautiful wildflowers and napkins of soft pink topped the modern silver chargers. Burlap & Lace Wedding A traditional wedding cake made by the couple’s grandmother was the main attraction of the dessert table, and pies of all flavors were displayed on eclectic cake plates collected by the family of the bride. Old doors served as a backdrop to the dessert display with crates and a vintage scale adding to the decor.  Burlap & Lace Wedding Burlap & Lace Wedding Guests danced the night away under the hand-crafted fringe garland that lined the ceiling of the tent, and at the end of the night the apricots were distributed into mini brown paper grocery bags with custom tags and handed out as favors.  Burlap & Lace Wedding We think this quote picked out by the bride and groom summed up this celebration perfectly, “Celebrate we will, for life is short, but sweet for certain.” – Unknown
